This bird fell in our pool and couldn’t get out. I happen to walk up on it and rescue it. Jaime dried it off and I tried feeding it. Hours later it was still there but in the morning it was gone.
A historic day as it was the first commercial spacecraft to bring US astronauts to the International Space Station. We watched most of it, all the good important parts.
I was wondering if they used custom made tablets, but found they didn’t, and hilariously… some millions of people have seen the iPad unlock code.
They probably have the greatest of physical security controls at this time!
This time around, the Rock ‘n’ Roll event hosted a virtual run that was only a 15k and an 8k. I was going to knock them both out in one run, but my stomach had other priorities! So I had to stick close to the house and run in giant circles to get my 15k in. The next day, I did the 8k but couldn’t get really moving until after mile 2, the leg stiffness was real!
And, today is day 30 of learning Sweet Child ‘o Mine on the Ukulele
Last Friday, I started working on learning my Amazon Web Services – Solutions Architect Associate certification.
Saturday I was planning on running 14 miles to cover both the 15k and the 8k, but my stomach made other plans, so I had to fight with myself on how far I was going and decided to stay fairly close to home.
I did the 8k the following morning (this morning) and for the first 2 miles, my legs weren’t cooperating and my feet were sore, but after that, I got enough blood going through them to get at it.
After awhile, we had a Fancy hat tea party to go to, if you don’t know this, part of being at a tea party, you are supposed to have food and there is dancing involved! Since we met virtually and wanted to make a game out of it, it was decided that we all contribute some steps to the dance.

I may have gone extra on the cheese tray I made, I blame my shirt
This weekend was the 2nd ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Virtual Half Marathon and 10k and… well, I ran them both!
On the Friday, I ran the half marathon 3 hours ahead of schedule, which still counts to me.
and the next day, I wasn’t going to, and convinced myself to just go for a walk around the block, and… well, I ran that 10k too.
I didn’t give the runs my all, but I wanted to go the distance and at the pace I was going, had no problem. Slow and steady is how I roll and I’m okay with that!
On my 100 day challenge, I’ve progressed on the song Sweet Child ‘O Mine into the solo and I’m having a great time learning it.
This weekend was a teleconference weekend, starting with our friend Natacha to just shoot the breeze and talk of masks and cosplay. We didn’t capture any screenshots of that event.
We also did our monthly 105th friends meetup. It was fun to see everyone again!
