It was my mom’s big birthday and she wanted to spend it with her boys in Vegas. She also invited Jaime to join us! We met up with mom, Auntie Nervie, Uncle Dave, at the Stratosphere in Vegas.
This was our first big camping trip at the lake together with our family and friends. Rob and Brandee were the only ones with a boat there. We didn’t really take the racing boat out. This was the trip when Jaime and I announced that we were together.
Camille had her birthday today. We had Pink Taco and later that night went to see Grounded and Fred Green.
Jaime came over the night before to help me patch drywall. We were at Kelly and Steve’s house, having a few drinks though and one thing led to another…
The next day, Camille came over to help us paint my bedroom. Pat and Damien helped too.
I resolve to:
Keep my son active.
Keeping on him about his homework
Keeping on him about reading
Signing him up for piano lessons (already done that)
End Goal: Wicked Smart Kid = Wicked Smart Grown Up = Daddy can retire when kid is rich!
Keep my house relatively clean
Keeping my chores done
Keeping my brother on his chores
Keeping my son on his chores
End Goal: Adds to organizational skills. Allows for company to unexpectedly drop by.
Decrease Debt
Lower my phone bill
Make smarter financial decisions
Think things through before buying anything
Pay debt back
Increase Credit Score
End Goal: Increase quality of life
Health
Get Damien and I to see a Dr. regularly

Have Damien pick a sport and sign him up to play it
Eat leaner foods.

Ahhh… Another year over. 2006 was a very good year. I really have had a great time. I usually look back at all the memorable things that I had done.
In 2006, no particular order, I;
-Got my son full time.
-Enrolled him in school.
-Helped him get from being an “F” student, to more or less an “A” student
-Bought my first Motorcycle
-Bought my second Motorcycle
-Ran a cabling business
-Did really well on my taxes
-Got in shape.. twice.
-Hung out with some really cool people (Chris, Rob, Booger, Camille, Suzanne, Kelli, Kelly, Jaime, Mariana, Eric, Lloyd. Just to name a few)
-Built a pretty good reputation
-Did a couple of biker rides
-Was Batman
-Went on a Dinner Cruise
-Went to San Diego with just my woman
-Went to San Diego with just my son
-Gave to the poor/less fortunate
-Helped run United Way
-Went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera
-Started drinking again. In moderation.
-Established contact with some friends from my childhood.
-Sent out Christmas Cards
-Made my mom cry because I finally now know what to get her for Christmas
-Made a legless guy cry
-Had fun doing everything above.
