Cake Creations

I didn’t start making cakes that looked like this.

Leading up to my wedding, I got some great idea that I should make the wedding cake. I thought it would be such a symbol of love to do so. I told my (now) wife about it and she thought it might be cute. To encourage me, she bought me a couple of books on cakes. I followed the recipe and thought I did okay, but when I finished the cake… It looked like this.

After making this… masterpiece… I knew I had to get more practice in. So for every occassion leading up to the wedding, I made cake. I started doing it so much I started getting orders for them. I started my own company making them, but eventually it was hard to create a demand that would earn us sustainable wage.
